Product Descriptions & Pricing
We make every effort to ensure that all product descriptions on our website are accurate. However, occasional inaccuracies, typographical errors, or misinterpretations may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies when identified.
All prices displayed on our website include GST but exclude delivery charges, which are calculated separately based on your location.
Warranty & Change-of-Mind Policy
All products purchased from TecGuru come with an Australian warranty of up to 12 months. If you change your mind about a purchase, you may request an exchange or store credit, subject to the following conditions:
- The item is in re-saleable condition
- The item is in its original packaging with all tags attached
- The item has not been opened, used, worn, or damaged
- The request is made within seven days of purchase
Return Process & Requirements
To initiate a return, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items must be returned in their original packaging with all accessories in new condition, suitable for resale. The item must not be damaged while in the customer's possession.
If the "Authority to Leave" option is selected, we are not responsible for any losses.
We reserve the right to decline returns or exchanges if the return instructions are not followed, or if the item has been improperly used, installed, or damaged due to misuse or abnormal use.
Faulty Products & Consumer Rights
If you believe a product is faulty, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
For faulty products, we will:
- Provide a replacement or refund for major faults
- Repair, replace, or refund for minor faults
- Offer a replacement or repair within the warranty period at our discretion
For faster resolution, please contact us with detailed information and, if possible, photos or videos of the issue.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) & Faulty Product Returns
If a product is damaged during delivery and reported within seven days of dispatch, we will replace or repair it at no cost. If repair or replacement is not possible, we will offer a similar product or issue a refund.
For damages reported outside the DOA period, we will assess your case and determine the best course of action.
Returns Due to Hygiene or Safety Reasons
Certain products cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons. Personalized or customized products are also non-returnable.
Return Conditions & Approval
Before returning an item, please ensure that:
- You have received approval from our Customer Support Team
- You have followed the return process instructions
- The product is free from misuse or transit damage
Refunds, Exchanges & Store Credit
Once your return is inspected, we will process a refund, exchange, or store credit, as applicable.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the product is faulty
- If a return is processed under warranty, all delivery costs will be covered
- For non-warranty returns, only the product cost will be refunded, excluding delivery fees
Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any loss or damage related to this contract is limited to:
- Replacement of defective goods or a refund of the purchase price (excluding delivery fees)
- We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential damage, or damage to third-party hardware/software
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty does not cover:
- Consumables (e.g., batteries) or cosmetic damage
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Failures due to improper installation, maintenance, or normal wear and tear
Consumer Guarantees & Additional Terms
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for faulty products. We ensure that all products meet standards of acceptable quality, fitness for purpose, and accurate descriptions.
Additional Terms
- Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required for warranty claims
- For faulty or damaged products, photographic evidence must be provided within seven days
- If a product is unavailable, a similar replacement may be provided
- Refunds exclude delivery costs and are processed after the product is returned to us
